A Year in Review

With 2024 drawing to a close, I've been reflecting on what has been a year full of growth and milestones for Care+Wear. As always, our mission to humanize healthcare and helping all 8+ billion people with what they wear in and out of the hospital has remained our guiding force, driving every decision.

This year was defined not just by our team's hard work and dedication, but by the support of our amazing partners and community. It’s because of them that we’ve achieved so much, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built together.?

There are so many standout moments from 2024, but a few key milestones really highlight the heart of my journey this year. Here are some of the moments that made this year unforgettable:

A Night to Remember: Gala for Breast Cancer Awareness

In October, Care+Wear , Founders Only , Chewonthis DTC , and Obvi teamed up to host the inaugural October to Remember Gala. The event was a success, with over 400 guests gathering at the Surrogate's Courthouse in NYC for a night of celebration, dancing, and most importantly, giving back. Every dollar raised went to supporting breast cancer patients at NORTHWELL LONG ISLAND JEWISH HOSPITAL .

Seeing the collective energy in that room, and knowing that we were making a difference in the lives of those battling breast cancer, was truly special and the kind of night that makes me very proud to be part of this community. I’m already looking forward to making this an annual tradition and seeing the event grow in years to come.?

A Growing Community of Founders

2024 also marked a significant milestone for Founders Only : our sixth year of hosting founders and senior executives across our monthly dinners and events. This year, we expanded nationally by adding new dinner events in both Miami and LA, bringing together over 630 founders and executives over the course of the year! It’s been amazing to watch this community evolve from just a few people around a table in NYC to a nationwide network of founders and executives who are not only shaping industries but supporting one another through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.

This network has proven that there’s nothing more valuable than a group of like minded individuals who understand the benefits and challenges of growing a business. I can’t wait to see where this community goes next and to continue building something special together.

Redefining Patient Dignity with Gowns

Year after year, we’re committed to creating products that help our partners deliver the best possible care to patients. 2024 was no different! After seven years of dedication, we were proud to launch our patient gown with our largest customer to-date! The wait was long, but it was well worth it.

Visiting our partner’s hospitals, walking the halls, and seeing firsthand the impact we’re making on patients' lives - by interacting with patients wearing these amazing gowns - reaffirms why we do what we do. The impact extends beyond the patients (who no longer have their backsides exposed) to their families and the clinicians caring for them. Witnessing these moments not only brings tears to our eyes but also adds fuel to our fire to help even more people.

Family and Gratitude

On a personal note, the biggest highlight of my year was welcoming my niece into the world and watching my sister become a mother. This year has been filled with special moments shared with family and friends, and I’m incredibly grateful for their constant support. These experiences serve as a reminder of the bigger picture. While we work to improve lives through our products, at the heart of it all, it’s the human connections that truly make a difference.

Looking Ahead

Stepping into 2025, Care+Wear is more excited than ever about what lies ahead. The momentum we’ve built this year is something we intend to carry forward, pushing boundaries and breaking down barriers to create a world where healthcare feels truly human.

Our focus will remain on innovating, growing our incredible team, and forging even stronger partnerships to expand our reach to more patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
