A Meaningful Year at the HPI Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

As we approach the end of the year, I am taking a moment to reflect on the journey we have undertaken at the Hasso Plattner Institute Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, powered by the HPI Engine and HPI Ventures . It has been an intense year, filled with many meaningful experiences, entrepreneurial impact we created, and lessons we learned.

First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to our dedicated team and colleagues at HPI and HPI SEED. Your commitment and hard work have been fundamental to our achievements. Together, we've developed new programs and organized events that have meaningfully engaged tech enthusiasts and aspiring entrepreneurs. We supported many new and upcoming entrepreneurs, invested time and funding in great digital startup teams making an impact. And, we kicked-off our new HPI Maker Universe.

A heartfelt thank you also to our incredibly great ecosystem partners, mentors, and friends for your invaluable support and guidance. Thank you for making a difference and supporting us on our way to create entrepreneurial impact.

We are deeply grateful to the Hasso Plattner Foundation . Your strong support allows us to progress our mission to entrepreneurially empower more and more digital engineering students and scientists, to motivate, prepare, and support them to become the digital and impactful makers and entrepreneurs our society urgently requires.

Faced with global problems like climate change and the harsh realities of war and hunger, we are humble and thankful for being able to make a difference in such a privileged environment. We use technology and entrepreneurship for social benefit, but are, at the same time, fully aware they're not fix-alls. We, as a society, need to do everything to overcome these challenges as quickly as possible.

Looking ahead to 2024, we we will take on the new challenges that await us. We will continue to work towards innovation, inspiration, and making a substantial difference in the world.

Here's to a new year of empowering entrepreneurs and driving positive change in society.
