?? A Year of Impact, Collaboration, and Growth at Elephants Can't Jump ??

As 2024 wraps up, we’re reflecting on a year where teamwork, creativity, and dedication drove us to deliver some great results. Here are just a few highlights that made this year so rewarding:

? Visiting Italy to understand more about the brand and products of a special client of ours, Filippo Berio. This was a successful project for us, where we were invited to present at our client’s international marketing meeting - an experience we’re proud to have delivered.

? Creating and Delivering a new brand to market: Moi by Mademoiselle Desserts. From creating the brand assets, and brand proposition in 2023 to this year, driving social media management content creation, website design, and content days, the team came together to make a real impact. We also had a brilliant time with Moi at the IFE in March - a very successful launch day for the brand and an event we will never forget.

? Working in the world of food surplus with SugaRich and SweetDreams. We now know everything about food surplus and how to improve food waste processes - thank you for the opportunity! We know how important their work is to reduce the amount of food waste and how to distribute any waste that is being produced in the best way possible.

? Working on one of Europe’s most loved Free From & vegan choc and treat brands. Buttermilk is a brand that has opened up so much pleasure and joy to so many people.? May it long go on opening doors to more and more people keen to enjoy the tastes and textures that many can take for granted! We have been loving working with the team down in Cornwall to help set up their brand for success.

? Understanding the world of Prepared Meals. Bringing fresh strategic thinking, consumer insight and future thinking analysis, we’ve helped this client move forward in exciting new directions within the world of ease and convenience for the future.

? Working with NOMAD Food Group within the frozen food world working across UK, Germany, Italy to understand consumer motivations, habits and needs within certain occasion states.

? Bringing consumer insight to the fabulous income protection specialist PG Mutual in their work supporting healthcare professionals across the UK from Doctors and Surgeons to Vet Nurses and Opticians.? Their work is so needed and important and they are a joy to work with.?

? Creating candles with Sloan’s Candles. From organising a great Christmas party to working with Sloan’s to help formulate their brand proposition and future strategy, we found success through creativity and connection. We look forward to working again in the future!

? Trained in the power of body language and facial expressions, enhancing the way we communicate value to clients, and understanding consumers in our research. Thank you, Adrienne!

? Visited several exhibitions set up by our brilliant new business developer Irmina, including the Food Fair at the NEC in Birmingham (this was the best one!), the next best was the IFE in London (to help present and launch Moi), thirdly Plant Based World in London, and Bar Convent in Berlin also gave us a brilliant insight into the beverages world.

? Visited many factories, as we do every year.? We Elephants love a good factory tour… It’s an important part of the Immersion stage of every project - the thoughts it stimulates, and the questions it raises are all invaluable.? This year we have seen the inside of a cake kitchen and bakery, a clothes factory on the Isle of Wight, a fudge factory in Cornwall, the balsamic vinegar houses of Modena and the kitchen that makes some of the world’s most delicious desserts.?

? Welcomed the lovely Daria for an internship with the team - thank you, you smashed it!

? And a very exciting large Italian distribution brand we look forward to helping with their future brand strategy, a rebrand, and key messaging and communication pillars as we go into the new year!

Places we’ve visited over the year ranking:

The most beautiful city: Lille, Northern France

The most fun city: is Manchester, UK tied with Berlin, Germany

The best place to live is Tuscany, Italy (for the quality of life and the delicious authentic food!)

A big thank you to our partners: Lee Canning for his film editing wizardry, the research team at Mindlab for their brilliant data minds, Food Futurologist Morgaine Gaye for her futuristic and very intelligent take on the world, Dan Boustead at Mojo recruitment for his super consumer recruitment help, Jon Ogborn for his brilliant design on an important client of ours, and of course the team at Caldesi with help with our consumer focus groups to name a few!

And of course thank you to experts for their help within their food specialties: WRAP, the team under Henry Dimbleby, the team at the British Heart Foundation.

This year, we embraced personal branding, more food and drink proposition development, future thinking, fresh thinking, and innovative tools that helped us all grow—individually and as a team.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together, and none of it would be possible without our clients, partners, and the collective efforts of our talented team. Here’s to an even bigger and bolder 2025, with more meaningful work, standout projects, and continued collaboration.
