So proud of my team. Forbes has ranked us #1 for Remote Jobs companies

This is the biggest accomplishment in my career. When I first came to VIPKID, we had 9,000 online teachers. In the past 9 months, through blood, sweat, and tears, my digital marketing has brought us beyond 40,000.

This makes us the #1 company in the world for remote workers. Ahead of companies like Amazon, Dell, Salesforce, and Xerox.

I'm proud of what this means for our business, but equally proud that we're providing work for teachers in the US who are home with kids, like working remote, or just want to supplement their income.

When I came to VIPKID as their Head of Growth, I was employee #2 for supply side marketing with our head of Teacher Recruitment, Bel Chan. Along the way, Bel and I have build a marketing department of 30+ that now spans Beijing and San Francisco. I'm so proud of our team and the accomplishments we've made, workflows we've built, the branding we've developed, and now, this recognition from Forbes.

At the beginning, Google and Facebook representatives wouldn't even respond to my emails. Now they regularly fly out to visit us and hold special training sessions just to help us. This year has been nuts, and I'm so proud of our team for everything we've accomplished.

This was the first video shoot I produced during my first week back in May. At this time I was one of two members of the supply side marketing team.

The first three digital marketing assistants I hired: Stacey, Jenny, and Amy. Jenny now runs all our programmatic job board listings; Amy manages our enormous advertising programs with Facebook, Google, and Bing; and Stacey has moved on to a creative agency that we do a lot of work with.

Our first team building back in November. We grew our team fast!

Our first creative workshop with Facebook in Hong Kong on optimizing motion ads. Facebook has been an amazing partner for us.

Our annual gala last month with our US team, which has gone from three people to 16 in less than a year. Also featured, our co-founders Jessie and Victor.

I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for all the effort that has led to this incredible recognition from Forbes, and excited to see the future of VIPKID. 2018 will be even bigger!
