A Year of Growth and Innovation

A Year of Growth and Innovation

As we wrap up the year and get ready to bid farewell to 2023, let’s take a look at some of the amazing moments we created in the School of Professional Accounting (incorporating CA Connect) in 2023.

We are proud of our students and alumni. One of our proudest moments in 2023 was when the best PGDA students took their exams in January and June. Here are the top achievers for both those months in 2023. We are very proud of the effort and achievements of our PGDA students. To those who did not succeed, we understand your disappointment but urge you to keep chasing your dreams. We look forward to continuing this journey with you.

A word from Gareth Olivier, Head of School in the School of Professional Accounting (incorporating CA Connect): We are humbled to have had more first-time writers than any other institution, and the most passes. We are passionate about the work we do and hope to play an even more significant role in the development and transformation of the Chartered Accounting industry moving forward. Doing this online is significant as it represents an inclusive and flexible opportunity for capable CAs(SA) of the future to be included more broadly in reaching their dreams.

Congratulations to all our students who passed the January and June 2023 ITC exams! ?? We are proud of your achievements and wish you all continued success in your academic and professional endeavours. We would like to give a special shout-out to Sonika Dames, Zoe Klaver and Megan Conradie for achieving above 75% and making the Top Honours Roll in the January ITC exams! ??

A round of applause to Rebecca Lapin and Jaco Fourie for making it to SAICA’s Honours Roll for the June 2023 ITC sitting. A well-deserved silver medal was awarded to Rebecca for her hard work and dedication. ?? “I was very surprised and proud of what I managed to achieve this past year and thank you to the Milpark lecturers for all their support and motivation,” shares Rebecca.

Jaco was one of only two students from across the country to achieve a spot on SAICA’s Honours Roll. His hard work and dedication earned him a gold medal. ?? “To be honest, I am just grateful for the opportunity I had to be able to write the exams and grateful that I have passed it,” shares Jaco.
