Year End: It is time for the Retrospective...so let us be honest with ourselves.

2017 went by quickly... As I approach the end of the year, I find myself doing my own retrospective as well as my career and department review. What went well? What needs improvement? What changes or needed? My criteria for a good retrospective is to be both honest, and respectful. I like to think of my year as a mission and the retrospective as a mission debriefing. It's not meant to be personal. Write it down, and look at it.... share it and ask for feedback. This is good for the business and good for the soul.
