Year End Reflections and Goals for the New Year
At the end of every year, we all take stock of what we accomplished in the year. For the years where I know that I have achieved some of my goals (usually, I have taken stock before the year ends and mark them off), I look forward to these times. The year where I know that I have not achieved much (usually, I know before the end of the year :)) I don't look forward to stock taking....
This year, I find that most of my accomplishments centered around personal development, spending more time with family, being relevant to the God's work. 2023, has indeed been one of my most fulfilling years.
With the new year just around the corner, I find myself more excited to list out my goals for 2024 but with more determination to achieve ALL my goals in the new year. I lean on the S M A R T framework when writing out my goals and ensure that they are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound.
One thing I will be careful of though is leaning more on one area of the framework than others..... Did, I mention that writing this article is one of my goals for 2023 :)
Happy New Year in Advance folks!
