A Year of Change: From Market Research to New Horizons

A year ago, saying goodbye to my job of sixteen years was a big deal for me. I never thought that a surprise chance would lead me to new things. Making that choice was tough and kept me up at night, but my desire for something different won, and I ended up on a crazy journey of change.

Looking back on the past year, I'm really thankful for what I've learned and the things I've been through. Reflecting on the past year, I would really like to share some of the key experiences...

Trying New Things: Jumping into unknown territory after sticking with one job for 16 years was scary. But the excitement of facing and overcoming challenges became my motivation. It wasn't an easy decision, but I'm truly happy I took the chance.

Learning as I Go: Starting as a product sales person and later getting into product development and franchise management made me realize there was so much I didn't know. Now, a year later, I can say I've learned a lot. It's been about always learning, stepping out of my comfort zone, picking up new skills, and seeing things from a wider perspective.

Finding Good in Change: In the middle of all the changes, I found not just coworkers but great friends. Their friendship and support have been really important as I figure out my new role.

Missing the Past: Even though new opportunities are exciting, I can't help but miss my old work buddies and office. Thinking about the past reminds me of how I got here – it shows the connections and experiences that made me who I am at work.

Heading into 2024, I'm excited to see what happens because of the choices I made. The road ahead might not be clear, but I'm determined to do my best. 2024 will bring more chances to grow, face challenges, and discover new things, and I'm ready for whatever comes.
