An year to being a Penn State graduate!
Penn State - Graduating class of 2019!

An year to being a Penn State graduate!

Today, I complete one year to my graduation from Penn State with Masters in Electrical Engineering. From day 1 to the graduation day, it was a roller-coaster ride with alot of learning involved.

I am grateful to my advisors and mentors Prof. Mark Mahon and Prof. Tom La Porta for having deep faith and confidence in me. I am thankful and cherish all the guidance I received at Penn State.

I was fortunate to carry out the Technology Scouting internship and co-op at Logitech Inc. in San Francisco Bay Area for entire one year until I graduated. My hard-work, passion, and inquisitiveness for new technology and business contracts paid-off and I got a full-time opportunity to join Logitech Inc. as Sourcing Specialist - New Technology. I am glad in these 2 years of corporate career, "1 year as an intern" and "1 year as a full-time", I have learnt about 200 (or "more") innovative technologies and worked on multiple business contracts/agreements requiring simple to complex understanding of technical, business, and negotiation skills.

I am grateful to be in a global role and travel world-wide including Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Ireland, China, Taiwan and India. With different challenges involved, I have learnt alot about the global work-culture, and feel there is a lot more to learn. Every day at work is new and reinforces my love for innovation and business by enabling cost-efficient technology solutions directly impacting the consumer's life. I have realised technology solutions are always fascinating and drive industries. However, if solutions are both accurate and cost-effective, they make an impact both on the consumer and the industry.

With another batch around the corner to graduate, I congratulate you - "The Class of 2020!" My highest hopes that you will continue success and keep progressing in your career path.

As Robert Frost says, "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep."
