Is the year 2018 the year you finally show up!

What does it take to have a better year than last year? What has to happen? Do I need more sales? Do I need a better Staff?  The contemplation of thoughts of what it's going to take can be daunting and leave us thinking in the way that is probably similar to last year.

What if we show up differently than last year? That might pose the subjective question, is there something wrong with the way I showed up last year?  Wrong not at all, but if you're yielding the same results year after year and expect a different outcome than changes is the word you're looking for in last year's self-reflection. After all, everyone knows the definition of insanity.

How does a person get an actual self-realized result that creates changes and potentially improves their life?  That is such a broad question and one that I will not even attempt to tackle in these short paragraphs.  However, the intention is to have you think how could I start and bring you to the point of asking the right questions to help you show up differently in 2018.

So what are the right questions you might be asking yourself? First, that is the anomaly there are no right or wrong questions.  Why because you are perfect the way you are, trust me you are! You're just probably not living up to the person you were born to be. We all have stories, and after a while, those stories become belief systems. Unfortunately, they're not always our own.  You know they're not your own when feeling an internal tug from the universe.  Something inside of you says, is this my life?

After several years of living my life and finally getting to the place of listening to the tug and self-curiosity of what is the question for me, about me that I had to know. Is this my life, I had to know; it was this internal burning force of direction of self-discovery and wanting to see who I was before I could go any further on my path of life.  The question I came up with is just: Why does my life seem as a record player is?  Not bad in context or unlivable, only the same year after year. Round and round in a sense, it was my very own version of the Movie Ground Hog Day, and I had to understand why and break the record.

That question began my shift to gaining an understanding that has blessed me with a considerable knowledge of wisdom, understanding and an awareness of conscious thought that I have experienced before. That one question had such a profound cause and effect in my life. It's how I started to show up differently and jump off the record player of results I was getting from year to year.  My very life was changing in ways that I never expected.  My mind was living in such a paradox of limitations and all of sudden the entire universe started to open through a different lens of understanding.  My self-image raised too much higher degree, my direct relationships with my spouse, children and extended family and business relationships were dramatically different. I was attracting the right people in my life. My ego was in a place of self-less understanding of others. All because I got to a place of wanting to know who I was.  I want to make sure you understand there was a tremendous amount of work that went into this and it was not some magic potion I drank and overnight I was a different person. Not even close to what had to happen, I had to put in hundreds of hours of self-discovery learning to get where I am.  I was on a quest for showing up differently than years past.     The critical thing to realize here is when you're able to stop, think and articulate the question to yourself, you will know it's time for a shift, and with the right work, you can create a different reality other than one your experiencing in the present.

I would contend that a good starting point for questioning. Who am I?  Then let the mind go to work for the answer. You may not understand at the moment of reading this, but their so many powers at work to help you find the solution you would not believe it at this time even if I shared. I am going to leave that for a later time in your self-discovery.  Just have an open mind and ask.

I am going to share a few keywords that can start you on your journey of Showing up in the way that begins to yield different results in the year 2018.  These are not in any order of importance I view them as equally significant and does not even come close to being all-inclusive, it's just a start.   Thinking vs. Habitual Thinking,  Creation VS Competition, Selfless vs. Self, Love vs. Hate, Belief/faith vs. Self-DoubtPositive Emotions vs. Negative Emotions, Awareness vs. Ignorance, Self-Reliance vs. Helplessness, Give vs. Take and so on. These topics on self-development can and will provide greater insight on how to show up differently this year.  If you just examine one part of these issues of thought, and it takes you to an article, book, blog, and or coach to help raise your awareness on how to show up differently I have completed my intention.  Unbox your business is about raising personal consciousness so that it helps bring more understanding to you as a person and entrepreneur. Mind first, Business second.  Show up in 2018!. I gladly welcome any all comments that can help people further their knowledge because collectively we can all serve those who are searching for answers.

“Let’s say that the proposition of infinite potential is viable. How would you prove that it exists?” (Agile) Mind Mapping/Quantum thinking can be a way... Man is capable of thinking at the speed of light, but he cannot communicate his thoughts to others faster than the speed of sound. According to Danah Zohar in her book, Rewiring the Corporate Brain (1997, pp. 26-37), there are three ways of thinking. The first is the way of rational, logical, rule-bound thinking, what she calls serial thinking. The second is associative, habit-bound thinking that gives us pattern-recognizing abilities in which we see that things are interlinked; she calls this parallel thinking. The third way is creative, rule-breaking and rule-making thinking; a type of thinking that challenges assumptions, breaks habits, or changes mental models. She calls this way quantum thinking. #mindmap #3Dthinking #4Dthinking #quantumthinking
