Yeah...!

Yeah...!

“I wasn’t searching for something or someone….I was searching for me.” Carrie Bradshaw

Does it sound just a word… or maybe a whole experience that transpired into 4 alphabets! Are you the one who you are or is there much more to you…! Well then, EXPLORE THYSELF!

Words like Connect, Engaging with Self, Trust, Instrument of Change etc. used in our OD parlance tend to have a deeper meaning and when you chance upon to live them, you emancipate yourselves.

  • Deep breathing exercise on the mountain table with the backdrop of a breathtaking view, so far away that even cell phone signals couldn’t trace you, was contentment! Connecting with my past, flashing the events in my life; I simply ‘thanked each soul’ who guided me to reach where I am today and yearn to be!

Not all activities were so calm and quell…for what followed was thrill! The 90 ft. fall when you are strung with a rope and need to cross over boulders to kiss the earth is beyond doubt an awesome act. However attentive to instructions, once in the game, you are on your own!  Even the guy next to you is equally struggling and each wonders, whose doing it better. And then there’s this guy who touched ground first, yelling and telling, what all you must do to land safely.

  • Experience teaches much, sometimes panic teaches more! Rappelling reinforced my belief in self and equally my belief on ‘trusting others’ who wished my ‘Good’; that I stay safe and get down safe.

You derive fun even from all the troubles you undergo or are made to! Building our very own ‘Bridge on the River Kwai’ turned us into nonetheless than Soldiers on the war front! The task didn’t simply end at building it; but demanded validation of solidity and strength; by each one walking across the structure hanging with a safety rope around us before ‘declaring it open to public’!

Whatta show it was! With chaos all around us, we made ‘sense from the nonsense’. Here emerged the concept of ‘use of self as an instrument of change’. Self awareness prevailed and some of us potently utilized their abilities to reflect, display and even direct all options which could lead us to taste success with the task! They established contact with others, influenced and demonstrated with élan, the right actions to drive us further.

  • Unknowingly, there emerged this ‘Leader’ within us whom others followed and as this Leadership traversed among us with each moving action; it built the bridge of respect for the other!

This empiricism, now penned down has churned from those 3 eventful days of outbound learning, experienced or rather explored at X Thrill Lavasa; courtesy PED-Godrej & Boyce. All this self-discovery does emote the word, YEAH!

Out Bound Training Programs takes you through a very powerful experience , those who reflect deeply are able to identify the gap but a sustained resolve is required to bring about the change. As a facilitator for your program , I am happy that you have been able? to get in touch with your feelings and experience that works for you. The bridge building activity has been used for the first time in India or else where , to understand nuances on how to work on new projects in an environment of Volatility , Uncertainty? , Complexity and Ambiguity ( VUCA ). I am glad you were able to pick up few threads for action in days to come. Your efforts in the right direction and after 21 days will see it has panned out. We wish you God Speed .
