Yeah, I Went There. And It Sums Up Everything.

I have a friend, who happens to be black, and we get along really well. We actually share a lot of political positions. But one topic wher I feel he's off on the deep end in Geoge Floyd. He is STILL enraged over his death. It's a touchy subject, and it's pretty unanimous that it was wrong, but finally, after hearing him go on and on about it for the last three years, I had it. And I snapped.

And I said to him...

"Let's say your wife was on a subway car, all alone. And a man came o a presented a threat to her. If you could choose one other person to be in that car with her and it was either Derek Chavin or George Floyd...who would you choose?"

I saw him hesitate for a moment, realizing the quandary of the question. And I assume he knew the logical answer. But then he looked me in the eye and said "George Floyd."

And there you have it. People have become so brainwashed by a corrupt media that they will choose ideology over reality. And that is the state of the country today. And no matter how bad it will continue to get, there will be those who stand by their choice.

Norm Chomsky , who is hardly conservative, actually nailed it when he said;

“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum.”

Yep. You see it all the time. It makes people think they have choice. And they think they're well informed, when in fact, they're just minions of those who want them to think in a way so they may profit.

Well, you can leave me out. That is, to anyone who hasn't already.
