YCP Mentor Notes: Cyber Resilience Fundamentals Certification (A/CCRF) by Akylade
Way back on March 17th of this year, I told you I partnered with Jason Dion and formed a new company specifically to offer a whole new set of certifications. It’s called “Akylade”.
Well, I’m excited to tell you that we just granted the “Cyber Resilience Fundamentals” certification to our first cohort!
This certification shows your proof of basic competence with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Folks in this group had to take the beta exam, which wasn’t a walk in the park! There were over 100 questions as compared to the 50 on the publicly released exam.
Speaking of which, if you’re interested in getting your own A/CCRF certification, now that it’s live:
NOTE: You’ll only have a few days to take the exam once you sign up, so bear that in mind.
What do you think of this? Are you encouraged? Feeling something else?
Hit comment and tell me.
I read every comment you post!

Newest YCP Podcast EP 106: “All About Internships”
In this episode, we are discussing the much-anticipated topic of Internships! Internships are not that common in cybersecurity and that’s because they are a huge long-term investment, which is risky for lots of organizations, especially in the private sector.
Some of the issues that come along with internships are the time and resources that must be invested, and on the side, the risk of all these resources being blown away when the intern decides to not continue with the organization.
Trying to get your next (first?) cybersecurity job but you’re feeling stuck? Is it your resume? Interviewing skills? Something else?
