YCP Mentor Notes: Blue Team Training
It’s just after Labor Day Weekend here in the U.S.
In my house, it’s time to say goodbye to summer and return to our school year schedule.
Since I work from home, when my wife and daughters leave each morning I can leave my office door open and enjoy the quiet.
You can tell I’m an introvert, right?
In my last Note, I suggested you check out the “Detection Engineering Masterclass” by Anthony Isherwood .
I got a reply from Jay D. who told me “There’s also letsdefend.io. Prices range from free up to $40/month.”
I hadn’t looked at LetsDefend before so I headed over to their website. Then I spent some time reading what other people had to say about it.
Although I haven’t tried it yet, I’m impressed by what I saw and read.
LetsDefend’s goal is to get you ready to work in a Security Operations Center.
The training appears to be relevant, timely, and realistic.
And, I notice they have an “Analyst Assessment (Hiring Module)” for hiring managers to use during the candidate screening process.
They have a free tier so you can try it out at no cost.
So, rather than write you a long Note today, I’d like you to check out LetsDefend and tell me what you think of it.
Go ahead and give it a try. Hit comment and tell me.
I read every comment you post!

9 个月Did you actually try it? I'm running through the free section. Clunky English, borrowed graphics, and not very clear drawings of network topology. There's no 'about' page, so no idea who they really are.
