 I took the YCombinator Office hours in Bangalore last month. It was a good experience. The discussion was very good and friendly, and I was offered practical advice. I would suggest every entrepreneur to apply for YC office hours. The important points I noted are:

? Put up a website where potential customers could book our product in advance, so that we know upfront if users are really interested.

? How defensible is our product? Investors like products that are difficult to copy because initially we have no brand value.

? We should understand our production costs clearly.

? It is difficult to secure a $1m+ investment in the first round.
