YCH Secures Partnerships with Vietnam Airlines and Vietnam Railways Corporation, two firsts for Vietnam SuperPort??
T&Y SuperPort Vinh Phuc Stock Company (T&Y), a joint venture between YCH Group and T&T Group recently inked Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with Vietnam Airlines (VNA) and Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), its latest updates to the progress of Vietnam SuperPort?? in developing multimodal connectivity.
The partnerships signify the accelerated progress of Asia’s first multimodal logistics infrastructure, Vietnam SuperPort??'s inception in 2020 and ground-breaking ceremony in December 2021.
Strong partnerships with partners such as VNA and VNR are important for smart logistics infrastructure. As state-owned transport operations, VNA and VNR’s agreement to partner speaks volumes of their support and the alignment of mutual aspirations.
“I am happy to see the progress of Vietnam SuperPort???in the eight months since I virtually attended the ground-breaking ceremony in December 2021. The two MoUs signed with VNA and VNR, two anchor transport operators, are a demonstration of the shared commitment to make Vietnam SuperPort???a reality. We look forward to hearing more on the good progress of this project,” Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower, and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, Singapore.
Dr Robert Yap, Executive Chairman of YCH Group affirmed during the event that YCH Group will continue to support T&Y by drawing on our experiences and expertise in supply chain and logistics to develop sustainable multimodal smart logistics infrastructure across ASEAN, starting with Vietnam.
The SuperPort logo was also unveiled during the event, signifying the mutual stride and commitment between YCH Group and partners to drive logistics connectivity across ASEAN.
Co-developing Logistics and Supply Chain Talents Beyond Singapore Shores
Together with YCH Group, Supply Chain and Logistics Academy (SCALA) was honoured to host His Excellency, Mr Abdullah Mohammed AIMadhi, Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Dr Abdullah Alabdulkarim, Executive Director of Saudi Logistics Academy (SLA) to YCH Group’s iconic facility, Supply Chain City? Singapore.?

The visit also saw the inking of a Memorandum of Understanding between both academies to jointly up the ante in the provision of knowledge and expertise to groom the future of logistics and supply chain talents in Singapore and Saudi Arabia, as part of the Kingdom’s?Vision 2030?plan, emphasising logistics as one of the key industries to enable the Kingdom to be a global logistics hub.?
SCALA is elated to be SLA’s first partner in Asia Pacific to embark on this aspiration!
