Yao Selorm wears many hats—he's not just the co-founder of Strictly Social Africa, but also works as the Employer Partners Strategist Lead at Blossom Academy. Some of Yao Selorm's fondest childhood memories include playing football with his neighborhood friends, growing up in a compound house, and cherishing the unity and bonding within his family. While Strictly Social Africa has been fortunate to encounter minimal challenges, a significant challenge is the prevalent busyness among their team members. Many individuals find it challenging to dedicate time to certain activities, affecting participation in Strictly Social Africa's initiatives. Also, like many startups, Strictly Social Africa faces financial challenges that limit the extent of their creative content production, particularly tailored for the Gen Z audience.?
Despite these challenges, the team remains resilient and proactive in overcoming them.?
Strictly Social Africa has achieved some impressive things. They have helped people communicate better, making conversations clearer and more meaningful. Their platform has also brought people together, helping them form strong friendships and support networks. They have taught people how to create content, like videos and posts, so they can share their stories and ideas confidently. Also, members have started making their own podcasts, with 3 seasons already produced. With all these, it is no surprise their hard work hasn't gone unnoticed—they have won lots of awards, showing how much they have contributed to the community.
