Yamaha continuing musical product development

Yamaha as probably the largest musical instrument manufacturer in the world have a constant program in place to upgrade their products and in particular the electronic part of the business as new technologies become available. These upgrades provide the end user with an enhanced range of options which help both professional musicians or those of you using their pianos in the home market. Through the enormous development of APPS for both smart and android phones this now gives the piano player a much greater way of interacting with the piano and the wider musical community with either lessons or many specific programs available for download and use.

For Yamaha dealers like ourselves the annual visit to Frankfurt in early April for the MusicMesse exhibition gives us a chance to experience these new upgrades for ourselves and speak directly with the Yamaha team of experts who will demonstrate new features and models. This week in Frankfurt will see the launch of the new Yamaha Clavinova digital piano range which will be followed up by a network of country specific roadshows starting later in April and in Ireland's case taking place on May 5th next just outside Dublin.

Working with companies such as Yamaha provides dealers like ourselves with tremendous confidence to then sell a choice of their products to the public safe in the knowledge that these pianos as in our case are "in tune" with the latest technological developments and that our customers are using the best piano in the market for their particular needs.These annual visits to MusicMesse also afford us the opportunity to meet our piano trade colleagues and discuss with them their own views and how their customers are responding to the product offerings. Feedback from dealers to Yamaha is also a part of their strategy as they then review and include it internally as they continue to move forward ensuring their pianos remain at the forefront of technological developments and innovation.
