YADD - Yet Another Description of DevOps
I spoke at a few events, last year, and got very good reactions to my definition of DevOps from the audiences. So, I thought I would share it here to get your reactions...
DevOps comprises the tools, techniques and practices for the rapid, reliable and repeatable delivery and deployment of infrastructure and application artefacts, with:
- automated tests for validation
- security procedures for assurance
- logging for observability
- metrics for improvement
