Tour around Sound Leisure: Sound Leisure Limited was founded by Alan Black and Eddie Moss in 1978. Since the launch of its first jukebox in 1980 Sound Leisure has become a name synonymous with high quality and innovative products. Now owned and run by the next generation of the Black family, the company remains the oldest single ownership company in the sector. Saudi Arabian Airlines started out in 1945 with a single twin-engine DC-3 (Dakota) HZ-AAX given to King Abdul Aziz as a gift by the U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. This was followed months later with the purchase of two more DC-3s, and these formed the nucleus of what in few years later was to become one of the world's largest airlines.

Today Saudi Arabian Airlines has 129 aircraft, including the latest and most advanced wide-bodied jets presently available: B787-9, B777-268L, B777-300ER, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321, and Airbus A330-300.

Internally we utilise the latest technology and Sound Leisure's revolutionary '21st Century' 80-disc CD changing mechanism (the simplest jukebox mechanism in the world!) Or Sound leisure’s vinyl mechanism, recreating the analogue dream machine.

Every element of a Sound Leisure jukebox is created from the finest traditional materials and because we manufacture each jukebox individually we're happy to tailor it to meet your exact requirements. Our 'Custom Shop' can add bespoke cabinet veneers and colours, or create logo's and artwork to your specification.

About our classic jukeboxes

A jukebox from us will last a lifetime and be something to be treasured for years. It's all in the detail...

Bubble casings: made from the same material as riot shields, they're built to last. Come and try the jump test to see how strong they really are...

Castings: made of solid aluminium and copper/nickel and chrome plated.

 

Cabinets: they're made of one piece of wood, not many pieces joined together. Why? Because it makes them stronger. Is that more difficult? Yes! But we believe quality always comes first.

We love music, and we love the look and sound of the grand old vintage jukeboxes. We've spent more than 30 years developing our tribute to them in the shape of our stunning machines. So, if you want the very best, don't rest until you've hit play on a Sound Leisure Classic Jukebox. It's what great music deserves!

Lord Karan Bilimoria founded Cobra Beer in 1989 having realised that Britain deserved a better, smoother, less gassy lager.

Using the finest natural ingredients and a traditional Indian blend of barley malt and yeast, with maize, hops, and rice, he created an extra smooth and less gassy beer, quite unlike any other.

Originally planned to be called Panther, the beer was ready to go, but the name wasn't popular with customers and was changed to Cobra at the eleventh hour.

 

The rest, as they say, is history.
