Merry Xmas - I bring you Greensleeves, my xmas video for you. It is one of those melodies which can be traced to late-16th and early 17th-century manuscripts like Ballet’s MS Lute Book and Het Luitboek van Thysius that are preserved at the University of Cambridge.
I am playing greensleeves for more than 10 years now and felt a sudden push to represent it in between my ongoing 'guitar and dholak' episode. I re-arranged and transcribed this melody in my own style and it gave me a whole new experience.
I dedicate season # 5 towards many more western classical melodies as a western classical fusion Trio. A trio of 3 guitar as Nylon String, Steel String and Rhythm guitar which you would hardly hear.
