DESCRIPTION
5508J is a low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant, low corrosive, low toxic, and silane cross-linkable
compound by the addition of a catalyst master batch 5508A. It is designed for general-purpose cable
applications. So that this compound can be used as insulation of LV cables operating at up to 105℃ after
cross-link, with excellent fire safety characteristics and a good balance of properties. It can be used for all
applications where safety behavior in case of fire of cables for the public environment.

FEATURES
5508J has the following features:
·Low smoke, low corrosivity and low toxicity
·Good balance of toughness and flexibility
·Environmentally friendly (lead free, halogen-free, sulfur/antimony-free)
·Silane crosslinkable
The properties of these products are listed in table 1.
Cross-linkable compounds in cool dry conditions will maximise useful shelf life. Other precautions are:
1.Packaging should remain sealed.
2.Avoid temperature above 25℃.
3.Avoid storage outside and in direct sunlight.
4.Use within 8 hours of opening packaging.
PACKAGING & STORAGE
Packaging – The following possibilities are available:
1. Moisture-resistant sacks containing 25kg.
2. Boxes with a heat sealed moisture resistant liner containing approximately 125kg, 500kg or 1000kg.
