Xhentilo Karaj @ Process Mining Camp 2023

Our third speaker was Xhentilo K. from Euroclear in Belgium. Xhentilo walked us through the phases of an internal audit with process mining. In each phase, Xhentilo examines the challenges and opportunities that process mining brings compared to the classical audit approach. For example, traditionally, the analysis in the Fieldwork phase is based on samples and interviews. In contrast, auditors can use process mining to test the entire data population. In the Clearance phase, process mining changes the relationship with the auditee due to fact-based observations.
