Xemelgo, Ready for Takeoff!

Today I am excited to announce that Jinesh Varia and I have launched our Industrial IoT start-up - Xemelgo. Xemelgo is a Galician word that means “Twin”. Our focus at Xemelgo is providing Digital Twin solutions that power the Industrial IoT Revolution. Gartner states that “within three to five years, hundreds of millions of things will be represented by digital twins.” We believe that Digital Twin technology will emerge as an entirely new category of software. Xemelgo’s Digital Twin technology will be delivered to customers in high-value solutions that power Smart Manufacturing, Smart Connected Products, and Smart Aftermarket Services.

Jinesh and I initially joined forces at Hitachi in 2016. Jinesh came from Amazon Web Services where he successfully created and launched the AWS IoT Platform and the AWS IoT Button. At Hitachi Jinesh lead Product Management for Hitachi’s Industrial IoT solutions. Together we engaged with Hitachi Business Units and Fortune 500 customers to co-create high-value solutions and net new business models. At Xemelgo we are eager to engage with small to mid-sized companies, aligning our intelligent software with their industrial assets and operational know how.
