This Year, The Cross collaboration of Fendi by Versace or Versace by Fendi has come from the same land of Medici's. As their chief designers quoted,
“The idea is built out of friendship and respect for one another. Two designers who have a real creative dialogue that comes from respect and friendship. It led us to switch roles to create these two collections,”
Such Inter-Design works in fashion are paving the way for a new field. When designers operate within their own field, they combine concepts within that particular field, generating ideas that evolve along a particular direction. But when they choose to work at the intersection, they can combine concepts between multiple fields, generating ideas that leap in new directions.
