X Reasons You Should Test Your MVP

MVP - Minimum Viable Product, by definition is that version of a product which is used to test the viability of an idea or concept.

The concept, while used in a number of different industries, is seen maximum in the case of software development domain, especially mobile app economy.

With millions of mobile apps present in both - the App Store and Play Store, the chances of the fact that an idea is actually a never thought before the idea is minimal to negative. And, even if there is a slight chance, the probability is that the viability would be low, after all, if the idea is actually that good, won’t there be an app for it already?

The lack of understanding of the high probability of the happening that either there is already an app on your idea or the idea in itself is very unviable is what tends to make entrepreneurs too blindsided and ultimately unwilling to test the idea at all.

However, proving your app superior to others is not the only reason why you should invest in MVP in the first place.

There are a number of reasons that prove how it is necessary to make an investment in MVP development, let us look at what they are.

  1. Low Development Cost - MVP is developed with very few features and so the development cost is pretty low as compared to full-fledged mobile app development cost.
  2. Get Open Feedback - MVP gets you open feedback which can help you work on your app before it reaches the masses.
  3. Attracts Investors - It is not just a complete working model that attracts investors, more often than not, a working idea aka MVP is enough to get investors in.
  4. Readymade Client Base - MVP not just open your app for feedbacks but also for a readymade customer base who is ready to make an investment in your app.

Now that we have looked the various benefits that come attached with MVP development, it is time to move on to the next section - Ways to Validate your Minimum Viable Product
