September has been a busy month at Wallace Whittle! We've seen our Edinburgh office grow rapidly, completed a major project at St Mary’s University College in Belfast, and are gearing up for Healthcare Estates 2024. 1) From Three to Thirty in Three Years: Wallace Whittle’s Growth in Edinburgh?

Over the past three years, our Edinburgh office has grown from a small team of three to a thriving group of 30, expanding both its project portfolio and physical workspace. The recent expansion to our new Thistle Street location has provided a dynamic and collaborative environment, perfectly positioned in the heart of Edinburgh.

From delivering innovative solutions in state-of-the-art educational facilities to transforming modern office spaces, the Edinburgh team’s dedication and expertise have been instrumental in driving success across a range of industries throughout the UK. 2) St Mary’s University College Belfast: Completion & Handover?

We’re excited to announce the successful completion and handover of key refurbishment projects at St Mary’s University College Belfast. As part of the Isherwood + Ellis multi-disciplinary design team, we led the MEP efforts across several major areas of the campus, including the Cardinal Newman Library, Student Services Area, Dining Hall, College Hall, and Courtyard.?

From modernising the student spaces to enhancing campus sustainability, this project has transformed St Mary’s into a more vibrant and efficient environment for students.?

5) Royal London Receives Platinum WELL Certification for 80 Fenchurch Street?

We’re excited to announce that Royal London’s office at 80 Fenchurch Street has received Platinum WELL v2 Certification, making it one of only five projects in the UK to achieve this distinction. This recognition from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) highlights Royal London’s commitment to fostering a healthy and comfortable work environment.?

Wallace Whittle played a key role as MEP Designers and Sustainability Consultants, integrating sustainability and wellness principles into the design.?
