WWC Brighton: Showcasing and debating the future of Wi-Fi!
At Wi-Fi NOW it is our business to showcase all the great Wi-Fi technology out there - but it is also our duty to challenge this industry by asking all the tough questions! And that's exactly what we intend to do at WWC Brighton this May 22-24. How are we going to do that, you ask? Well, with lots of on-stage and offstage debates and not least some great panels - such as these:
What's next for the Wi-Fi powered smart home? We're looking for great new service opportunities, new architectures to drive more and better connectivity, solutions to quality issues, we'll discuss Wi-Fi 7 & complimentary technologies to Wi-Fi - and we'll ask our guests from Genexis, Qorvo, and Orange.
Also expect insights from Liberty Global, Qualcomm, TalkTalk, Truespeed, CSA (Matter), IEEE 802.11, MediaTek, Calix, Linksys - and many others. Probably the finest lineup of smart home luminaries we've ever had at any WWC event!
Wi-Fi vs. Private 5G: A talk on reality, fiction, challenges, & opportunities: The topic we always enjoy discussing - and so much the better when we can field analysts like Dean Bubley, William Webb, as well as Nanda Menon from Atheros, 5G core company in the process of getting acquired by Aruba Networks. We invite you to join in - it will be both heated and informative, I'm sure.
Analysis: AR/VR and the role of Wi-Fi - is the Metaverse still a thing and when can we expect AR/VR use cases to expand into the mass market? We're delighted that Analysys Mason is joining us for all the details - analyst Martin Scott has research this topic extensively.

So here's one I'm especially excited about: Exploring new technology: Innovation & opportunities in Wi-Fi-based LBS - during which I will interview the actual people from Google, Intel, and Aruba creating the new Wi-Fi location technology amendments that are set to revolutionise the world of Wi-Fi LBS - and possibly LBS generally. This is the one topic at Brighton WWC that very few know anything about. It is one big opportunity in the making - so you will need to know about this soon. We will also offer a workshop on this topic on May 22.
Once again we will have TIP OpenWiFi (including many of its members) on hand for an update on how and why the disaggregated stack from OpenWiFi is taking the Wi-Fi world by storm (because it is) - and we've even asked UK-based service provider Ask4 to give us the insights on what it means to be an OpenWiFi operator. Last but not least we will be discussing opportunities in enterprise Wi-Fi with Ruckus Networks, Airvine, Cambium Networks, Telent - and we've even convinced Amazon Web Services to deliver their insights on industrial IoT. And that is not even all of it. Go to our website for more.
Phew... it's a lot to take in, I know. But it is also a fantastic chance to get fully loaded up on Wi-Fi knowledge and insights in just 3 days. So make your plans now while tickets last! Join us in Brighton May 22-24!
See you there!
