WW2?and BEER
WW2 and beer combine two things that are very popular with many of my customers. So I've taken my popular Nuremberg WW2 Combo tour, which is a great way to learn about the former nazi party rally grounds, National Socialism and the Nuremberg Trials, and combined it with something else that is very popular with my customers...BEER! Talk about killing two birds with one stone. With this tour you will not only quench your thirst for WW2 knowledge, but have a chance to wash it down with some excellent German beer as well.
This tour begins at 1:30pm and we start off by visiting the Luitpold Arena site, the Congress Hall, the Great Road, and the Zeppelin Field. Afterwards we will will drive over to the Justice Palace, where Room 600 is located, and learn about the first serious attempt to adjudicate State leaders accused of war crimes.
At 5:30pm we head to the first of the three micro breweries in the Old Town for dinner and some wheat beer (Weizenbier). From there we head to the second of the three micro breweries for a red beer. And to top the tour off we'll finish up at the newest of the three micro breweries for a real nice selection of beers. As we walk from pub to pub I'll also fill you in on some of Nuremberg's medieval history as well (food and beer not included in the tour price).
It is also possible to customize this tour and combine it with any of my other Nuremberg Tours in English as well. I'll be happy to give you a quote for any Nuremberg tour variation that you want.
This tour is for parties of six or less, pick-up and drop-off with my personal vehicle from locations within central Nuremberg is FREE. If your party is larger than six people, please let me know so I can give you a quote for the additional costs involved.
IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION:please click here to contact me for a quote and to check my availability.
The tour duration is 7+ hours.
Please note: Room 600 (the courtroom where the trials were held) is still a working courtroom today and, therefore, I can't guarantee that you will be able to actually go into Room 600. However, you can always visit the excellent exhibition upstairs regardless.
