WW-029/21; Politicians- Why your organization hires them

Should you find yourself close to a politician by chance, run and hide before he decides to joyride on your back or eat you! A politician can eat law and order for breakfast, policy at lunch, and strategy at dinner. You don’t stand a chance.

This breed is good to go from the word go and going to school is only an added advantage. Their strength comes from right brain thinking where intuition and instinct are the main tools that drive business. With these tools, they play the art of the possible, with zero-sum games thrown in for extra thrills and spills.

Would your organization really hire a politician? Maybe making one to come on your side is more accurate. Anyways, there are five situations where a politician has to work for your organisation. Where the law, policy or strategy is standing in the way and moving forward means going uphill; you wish to give a bad name to a good thing, and a good name to a bad thing; you have a good reason to turn somebody’s day into a living nightmare; you wish to go where angels fear to tread; last but not least, you wish to manifest the wonders of wonderland in half of no time.

If a politician who has been standing on your side decides to joyride on your back with all their weight, you cannot shake them off. You do not stand a chance. Where do you go? Go to another politician who is not joyriding. He will scare your burden off, out of envy rather than pity. Then you should run away like the devil and hide from both.?

Like them or abhor them, they will always be around. Their footprint is that of a top dog and is the largest in society. They are survivalists with ways and means of making themselves needed. They are generators of artificial and superficial demand for themselves, for bad - for good.
