Wulfie is FINALLY here!

A sweet and funny series about a little girl and her wolfish best friend. Those of you who know me, will have heard of Wulfie over the years. I created him for my daughter Libby when she was yearning for a best friend. I did it at night, when the last thing I felt like doing was trying to invent something new and exciting enough to keep us entertained -- and Wulfie, once he emerged, was mischievous and curious and talkative enough to keep us going for a long time.

Eventually, it was Libby who decided - because we were talking about him to everyone - that everyone needed a wulfie of their own... and I started trying to pull the stories together... Long story short, the first one, Wulfie: Stage Fright is out in a week's time on Sept 3rd; the next one Wulfie:The Great Escape is out next Spring and I'm finishing the first draft of the third book this week. The wonderful illustrations are by Josephine Wolff.

If you'd like to read a sample chapter, the first one is here on the Little Island site.

I did a wee podcast to try and introduce him to the world - and discovered i was even capable of fluffing my own name after 70 attempts, but here it is.
