WTF is Crowdfunding 360?
When I was a kid, I used to watch a lot of television. One of my favorite shows was the A-Team, starring Mr. T and George Peppard who’s character used to say, “I love it when a plan comes together.”
For those of us who’ve unfortunately had to grow up and live in the real world, we know that plans don’t reliably come together as they did for the A-Team every Friday night at 9 o’clock on the dot. Maybe I’ve become a little jaded. Or maybe I’m just watching much less T.V.
In any case, this week when my web developer Phil unveiled his latest creation at www.crowdfunding360.com, “I love it when a plan comes together” just flew out of my mouth. Since deciding we’d get back into the events business, one of the things we had to figure out was a tight publishing system we could run in conjunction with our conferences. I think Phil nailed it with a custom website that we can replicate across all the topics we cover.
For those who’ve been reading my Series D Blog since August of 2015, the Crowdfunding 360 newsletter is something of a repackaging (and a major improvement). We have some cool things planned but we’ll stay true to our original mission to give you cutting-edge commentary on the area of online capital formation and deal sourcing.
Helping me keep the website fresh with news, information, and analysis of all things related to online deal marketing will be Grant Harvey, who’s been pitching in on these Saturday morning missives. I also hope that you, our readers, will contribute your own thoughts and ideas to make Crowdfunding 360 a collaborative project. If you don’t, well then, I guess I’ll just have to trudge forward myself, figuring out new ways to combine esoteric financial topics with personal anecdotes so no one gets bored.
So, with that out of the way, I hope you’ll visit the new website and stay tuned for more good stuff.
