Hola, and GM from Miami,
First, thank you to all the new subscribers. We have over 300 new subscribers over the last week, and I could not be more honored. Thank you.

Another Bitcoin Week is behind us, and this may have been one of the most significant crypto events in years.
Not only did two presidential candidates for the American presidency speak to the attendees and pledge to accept bitcoin as campaign contributions, but more importantly, the Ordinals Inscriptions community held its first-ever Bitcoin Week conference in a small room on Collins Ave.
Bitcoin x Crypto is already a very big platform position of the old guard, who vow to save us and regulate it away. Indeed, the breathless protestations of government officials and bankers should be a signal that something is truly afoot aside from centralized exchange failures, money printing, and bank runs. I can not stress enough: DYOR (do your own research).
Understanding the purpose of Bitcoin and the crypto infrastructure leads to the understanding of money and economics, and the wider the knowledge spreads, the more people understand the games that are being played. Conferences and online education about blockchain, Bitcoin, smart contracts, NFTs, and the entire body of crypto technologies is the only way one will really be able to make informed decisions when choosing representation. Ya have to do the work.
Henry Ford once said “It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.

Why Bitcoin Conference for ImmutableType?
My journey with Bitcoin began in 2012, and I have always found its appeal to be the?ideal?of sovereignty for the individual.
The ideal does cut both ways in my opinion, since, a planet full of self-interested individuals could result in a population at odds with the benefits of increasing community identity and our individual empathy for our neighbors. It’s a tricky balance.

Ordinals Inscriptions was the Real Story
The Wall Street Journal is one of my favorite American media brands, and the journalists knocked out some stories for their editors and advertisers.
Disclosure: I did meet two of the journalists briefly during an event Wednesday evening. They were very courteous and listened politely as I described ImmutableType and my plans for the project. This was a casual conversation in a public space.
The WSJ stories were not without some local controversy, as the rumors I heard were that they were hit pieces. The event was quite strong, and I was a bit offended that a?hit piece?would be published about the event and the city I now consider to be my home, Miami.
