Let’s be honest, we all look forward to a short work week after a long weekend. The countdown to Friday is approaching upon us.
Does a shorter work week translate to double the amount of work maybe including overtime to make up for that one lost day?
If we could imagine what the working world could be with a 4 day work week? This can allow us all to spend more time with family, time to reflect and time to de-stress, alleviating anxiety you may feel stepping into the office in the morning. Can you work less hours to accommodate your lifestyle or to just avoid that full time strain of commuting back and forth to work each day.
We surround ourselves deep into our work schedule first and at times we do not find the time to take care of ourselves. Make it a habit to create a plan to spend time with you, it may sound selfish but we all deserve some “me time” as long as we can remain balanced and motivated, you cannot lose sight of where you are going in life.
