My second TRUE STORY is called, FIVE WEEKS with events taking place in America, where I am nearly left for dead in a Pennsylvanian wood.
My third book, another true story is called, 24 Hours In New York.
David P Perlmutter lives in London and a very proud father of four children and has one grandson. David is exceptionally close to his large family, which includes four brothers and one sister, who all live within a 10-mile radius of each other.
It was while living in Portugal several years ago, that David started to write Wrong Place Wrong Time as a blog, but a friend who read the first couple of chapters, told him it was too good for a blog, it must be a book.
David’s second book, Five Weeks, is another true story and catalogues a trip to America during which he was almost left for dead in a Pennsylvanian wood.
Davids third gripping true story is 24 Hours In New York!
Apart from writing, David spends a lot of time promoting and marketing authors across the world on his social media platforms.
He has written eight books on book marketing in his My Way brand on Amazon and on his website.
David is a volunteer Cancer Campaigns Ambassador for Cancer Research UK, working with his local MP and the media on cancer related policy issues and campaigns. He also raises money for the charity by arranging book signing events at CRUK shops all over London and the home counties, donating a percentage of book sales.
David enjoys engaging with his 40,500 plus followers on Twitter @davepperlmutter and invites all his readers to join him there in ‘conversation’.

"Misteps and Injustice - But David Overcomes All Review By R. J. Krzak, Author"
Wrong Place Wrong Time by David P. Perlmutter, is based on true events and is a fascinating read. How can a real estate agent end up falling on such hard times? Despite his best efforts, life seemed to have a different set of priorities for David. How on earth can one person be subjected to so many things going wrong? Even when David's trying to do what is right, he ends up on the wrong side of the law. I won't go into the events as I don't want to spoil anyone's reading, but you definitely need to grab a copy and settle in for a wild ride. All I could do was nod, shake my head, laugh, and cover my eyes with David's exploits. One thing for sure, Wrong Place Wrong will make you satisfied with whatever good things come your way. Well-written and described and worth a read!
"A youthful adventure full of partying, travel, and mistakes, and true, real-world consequences. Review By Travis B"
David tells a story in a fast-paced, easy to read and plunge into, narrative. This is a gritty tale of what one might encounter if living life on the fly, being young and making some perhaps repetitive, mistakes that have life-altering consequences. Things could have been worse, and finally with some luck, maybe, a good decision offers salvation, at least partly.
I had not expected the ending, though. Was hoping he'd end up with Rosa again, or at least meet up with her, perhaps even, later in life.
All said, I found that I did thoroughly enjoy this real-life exploit of a nomad searching for something, not really knowing what, then getting it—really! I found myself reading it late at night (2 am) when I couldn't sleep, and the ending came quickly. A somewhat short, but potent tale. Party on the beach in Spain with beautiful women, broke as hell, and starving almost to death, drugs, hippie traveling tourists, more tourists, partying rich tourists, and an inferno of a rescue that sends the you know what into the fan. Shouldn't have taken those cards! But—choices, choices, choices. This book reminds me of some of the bad choices, and consequences thereof, in my own life. We live and learn, and hopefully, in the end, wise up. 5 stars for a read that kept rolling right along. Descriptive, enjoyable, refreshing, harrowing, and maybe even a damn—why, dude?! But glad ya made it!
"Reminds me of Sliding Doors Review By Book and film lover"
The Gwyneth Paltrow film Sliding Doors, one of my all time favorite films, comes to mind here. They both remind us how small decisions or missing a subway, or in this case going for a drive tipsy alter ones entire life. What if we had not gone to that party and met our life partner there. Wrong Place Wrong Time is fascinatingly done, open, honest and relentlessly revealing. Everything works out for young David in the end, which is not always the case in larger life, but he's given us a slice of life and a look at ex pats in Spain that's a treat.
