No pressure.
But being a writer is much more than a title or career. It's a responsibility.
Here's why I say so!
You hold the power to change mindsets, control narratives, and determine the future. With this power, you are established as a leader, a pacesetter, and a pathfinder.
Every writer has these qualities embedded in them. Through your words, you create standards and what may become a rule of thumb tomorrow. You educate, inspire, entertain, recover, enlighten, and persuade people through written words.
Knowing this, I cringe when I see writers producing work that is half-baked, unedited, or possesses no real quality.
The truth is, as a writer, your work is meant to be cross-generational. What you write today informs the next generation of what happened in our present day. It preserves culture, values, and truths!
If you don't write with this mindset, you shortchange the next generation of finding a link to us. You prevent them from knowing certain truths and principles they need to sustain this art.
Becoming a writer of relevance and influence is an exciting journey to be on. It doesn't matter if you are an author, a poet, a storyteller, or a content writer. If you are called with the skill and power of the written word, then you hold a very important pact to fulfill.
This newsletter is a vital tool on your journey of becoming a writer of relevance and taking responsibility for your call as a writer. Join us every week to learn something new. Something that'll equip you to make the most of this amazing path.
And if you're ready to commit to a regulated community of accountable writers on the same path, then we'll be glad to have you on board.
Please share this newsletter with all the writers you know are going to change the world!
See you next week.
