Writing your own story with reflection & self acceptance
Faith Matchett, VP of Operations for Atlantic and Eastern Ontario Regions at Farm Credit Canada (FCC), knows the power of crafting and telling a story. In addition to her role with FCC, Faith has a coaching certification from the Hudson Institute and is currently working on a social science doctoral degree from Royal Roads University.
Faith will offer attendees a perspective about writing our own stories through focus and action at our Advancing Women in Agriculture Conference in Niagara Falls (Ontario) on October 31, 2017.
Faith has been with FCC since 1999, and has held a variety of roles within the company. Today, Faith is responsible for overall operations in FCC's Atlantic and Eastern Ontario regions. Prior to joining FCC, she held accounting and controller positions in the construction, mining, printing and agriculture sectors. As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), she has also been awarded an FCPA, plus Faith holds a Business degree and a Masters in Education from the University of New Brunswick.
Faith is a Director on the Board of CPA New Brunswick and the Board of the Canadian Agri-Business Education Foundation. She is an active member of the Moncton Chapter of the Canadian Federation of University Women. She has attended the Commission on the Status of Women at the UN in New York City twice. Faith is also active with Global Villages with Habitat Canada, having been in El Salvador and the Yukon.
Faith and her husband have two daughters, one who has completed her university education and is now working full time, and one who is attending the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton completing a Master’s degree. Find out a little more about Faith here:
