Writing Short Monologues for the Stage

Welcome to this final week of Daylight Savings Time. Let's consider, as the afternoons grow darker each day, that we can approach this as a uniquely creative time for our writing. In fact, I want to say and show a few more things to you about writing monologues for the stage before my next Play Lab begins on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7:00 ET p.m. online.

For those of you who have never written for the stage, a short monologue, (five minutes or a minute or two), is a wonderful way to begin. Even if you are new to writing, or have been writing for years in another genre, I guaranty that you will be able to craft, in five weeks, a short monologue that is ready to be performed, by talented actors, in our showcase online.
