Writing A New Chapter, Instead of Having it Written For me
I have the unique opportunity at a second life. In April I had a 180 degree turn about in my Chronic Terminal Illness, is the illness gone. NO. And by definition I am still Terminal and 100 % Disabled. What they say is that at any minute it will flare up again, and I will be bed ridden again, and most likely will die quickly after the flare up. However, right this minute I am sitting up, I can dress myself, feed myself, (make some of my meal, I am so proud), and have even driven my car, although I would not recommend driving the same road s adn I do.
So what is this post about, the miracle drug that saved me, nope there is not one. The Pulmonary rehab where I learned to rebuild my strength, no although I do Love each and every one of the therapist, and the home Health assistance I received, did you know there is tool to help you even put on socks.... Smart people, but no.
It is where do I go from here? How many of us actually get a second chance at life? And I don't mean, heart attack almost got , acute medical issue, turned my life around. I have been terminally ill since 2004, forced to retire in 2011, almost completely sedentary in January 2015, to this is me now. My life has changed dramatically, My Husband of 25 years who was here thick and thin, wore out and left me, But God what a Great Husband he was. And I have the financial ability, and the strength, So what i want to know is, what would you do? I am open to anything that does not include a Doctor, Nurse or needle.
