Writing for justice

I realize that not many people will find "writing for justice" very popular. I just know that I have to write to show what is going on beneath the surface because too many people just have a surface level understanding of what is going on in the world today due to the US education system that we are indoctrinated into at a very early stage in life. I know there are people out there who are teachers or work with teachers and students who mean well and do positive work, but due to the political system they are under attack.
I believe writing can be a tool for the oppressed. Just like Ida B Wells said, "the way to right a wrong is to shine a light of truth upon them". Has anyone noticed or observed that there have been BLM or Black Lives Matter activists that have been reported to be found missing and later found dead? Has anyone noticed or observed Chicana/Indigenous women to also be found missing and murdered?
