In this second part of the series, Writing a Good Memoir, let me start by restating the importance of creating an interesting story, one that has a strong opening, middle, and ending that keeps the reader wanting to hear more and more about you, the author. A good memoir centers around a particular era or time in the writer's life. The details should focus on particular events that support your main story, so that the story line remains firmly in the reader's mind. And keep the reader always on your mind. Remember, you are writing your memoir not only for yourself -- it is definitely therapeutic -- but also for the reader. Invite the reader into your personal experiences.?
