Start small in writing and after a week increase the time.
Keep your hand moving, don’t cross out, don’t think logical.
Write without destination, write a lot of junk in disciplined stints.
Your will can’t do anything, it takes a lot of determination.
Be okay with artistic insecurities, if you are not afraid of voices inside you, the voice of critics doesn’t matter.
Always have a list of topics that you want to write - like a list of topics that you can keep piling up & delve deep when you have time.
Fighting tofu - Discipline is always a cruel world. Have some hacks around the habit of writing - block some time on the calendar every day to write, interact with a lot of writers, read a lot of relevant things and make your own version of it.
Power of details - Make writing an immersive experience so that you will make sure that all the detailing is covered, Make the audience immerse through the experience while reading it.
Try starting off a few first sentences from some interesting places and spin your story.
Writing is a communal act.
One plus one equals to Mercedes Benz - Be the most illogical person while writing stories.
If you want to be a writer while writing - you are a writer while sleeping, walking, eating.
Write at any place - while in traffic, while you are stuck in life, while you are frustrated.
Why do I write? - a big question for which I’m still searching an answer for.
Spontaneous writing booths -
The goody shoe nature - if you are pushing too hard and seeing a lot of resistance, just be away from that habit for a couple of weeks. Understand how bad you want to come back to it and then restart.
Wait before rereading and rewriting the same piece of content - give it some time, leave it for a few weeks and then come back to it.
A very good book for amateur writers like me to learn and implement a few of these things to kickstart the journey.
