Writing a business book in 2025: everything you need to know
Writing a business book requires forethought and planning.
There are so many business books on topics like leadership, entrepreneurship and strategy.
What makes your message stand out? What makes your story, or your company’s story, unique?
Lots of book authors focus on getting as many readers as possible, and that’s a misguided approach, especially for business books. Yes, readers are nice, but it’s better to have the right readers.
If you attract the right readers, and align your book with your sales funnel and company offerings, those dozens or hundreds of readers could potentially bring you hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.
Lots of business leaders hand out business cards at networking events. But being able to hand someone your book takes the business card concept to a new level.
This could be your year to write your business book. Which is why Isabella Talbott and I are hosting a free Book This! meeting to talk all about business books. If you want to learn more about business book writing, or book writing in general, check it out!
