If writing a book is on your list of goals for 2023 NOW is the best time to start planning and writing it.

There are 89 days left in 2022.

What do you intend to do with them?

Do you have big plans?

Did you know that if becoming an author or writing a book is on your list of goals for 2023 that NOW is the best time to start planning and writing it?

And I know you’ve been thinking about it.

Scaring yourself with how much time you think it will take you.

Or about what you don’t know about the editing or publishing process.

Or telling yourself that there’s enough time to write and publish your book if you start in January.

And there might be. It really depends on how you write and what feels sustainable and comfortable for you to do in your life/business.

I hang out with writers and authors all the time. Sometimes I even approach people and tell them that I think that they should write a book.

In fact, I spend six hours a week hanging out with writers and authors. And I have been for two and a half years now in my Write Now Experiment writing accountability spaces. People have written books while writing in these groups (both ones that are going to be traditionally published, ones that I’ve edited and helped them self-publish) and people have written blogs, email campaigns, social media posts – words that go on and make them money by growing their audience and their mailing lists.

Words that ask people to buy – and then they go and do just that.

I hold space for six hours a week, 50 weeks of the year (we have a couple of weeks off at Christmas).

This is 300 hours of time to write across a whole year.

We have 10 weeks left of the Write Now Experiment for 2022. That’s 60 hours of writing.

If you turned up to ALL the sessions and wrote 1000 words each session, you'd write 60,000 words which is

1) A LOT

2) A book if you planned it that way

But the beauty of the Write Now Experiment is that it’s not just running until the end of 2022, it’s running throughout 2023 as well. 50 out of 52 weeks, because I take two weeks off at Christmas.

That’s 300 hours each year that we write for. Even if you only wrote 500 words an hour, you could write 150,000 words in 2022 if you came to all 300 hours (that’s about three books!)

That’s a big commitment for sure.

But what if you considered it an experiment.

The Write Now Experiment.

Where you committed to writing something every week, where you committed to showing up to write once a week for up to two hours in community with other writers, from the comfort of your own home.

No need to keep on paying for another coffee every 45 minutes.

Maths…2 coffees at £3 each for a two-hour session in a café times 50 weeks equals £300…

Write under the watchful eye of a trained illustrated non-fiction book editor and publishing consultant who sets weekly prompts in case you want to write but don’t know what you want to write, and you can ask questions in the chat box of the Zoom.

Who comes along? People who want to write. Mostly people who are thinking about writing a book one day (and not necessarily for a while) that will help them market their business. But also people writing fiction, developing characters, using it as a weekly opportunity to journal that is non-negotiable. Many people in the group might not write a book this year or next year. But it’s a good first step to forming a habit to show your brain that you could write a book, when you are ready.

So – there’s no sales page.

But what I do know is that if you show up every week for 50 weeks you will write 50,000 words.

Can you imagine writing 50,000 words in the next year without this sort of support?

Can you imagine what it could be?

  • 50 blogs.
  • A book.
  • 250 social media posts.

Can you imagine how you could powerfully write these words and how many lives you could touch through your writing?

How many people you could help?

And how that could turn into income for you?

Our Write Now Experiment sessions are fun.

The support to turn up to write each and every week?

Writing in community and the same energy as others?

It’s powerful.

And it clears the way for all the other things you’d love to do more of in your business if you know you’ve got a commitment to turn up to write every week.

That newsletter to your list will never be written at the last minute again.

Here’s the info.

It’s simple really.

We write together.

Monday nights 8–10pm GMT/BST #teamnightowl

Tuesdays 11am–1pm GMT/BST #teaminbetweeners

Wednesday mornings 6–8am GMT/BST #teamearlybird

We meet on Zoom.

We have a bit of a dance to get ourselves in the mood.

We set our intentions for what we will accomplish that session.

Writing prompts are available if you need or want them.

And we write.

Post a link to your blog, best post of the week in a weekly post in our community Facebook group for your Write Now Experiment friends to come and support your writing and I’ll highlight a few each week in our weekly writing round up.

All of this for £199.

Yes, you read that right.

If you bought two coffees a week as you worked in a café, that would cost you £300.

Usually The Write Now Experiment is a £40 per month subscription.

Usually, it’s £480 for this accountability.

And when this end of year sale is over, that’s the price that it will return to.

But for now, because I know you can do big things with the end of 2022, The Write Now Experiment is my gift to you for £199 for the whole year.

That’s it. No more to pay.

You can get this price until Friday 7th October only.

It’s an absolute no brainer.

You can start writing with us from Monday.

What can you create in the final 90-ish days of 2022?

I’m so excited to welcome new writers and authors into our lovely friendly group.

Pop an emoji or gif in the comments or send me a message for the link.
