Writing ‘Advocate’ on Number Plates is Illegal -IHC Judge

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of the Islamabad High Court has declared that displaying the word “Advocate” on vehicle number plates is against the law. His remarks came during a formal event organized by the Islamabad High Court Bar Association, where certificates were distributed among lawyers.

During the event, Justice Jahangiri firmly stated that writing “Advocate” on number plates is illegal and should not be practiced. “No one is above the law, and using such plates is a violation of legal regulations,” he emphasized.
