??Agatha was an English writer known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short stories, her most famous characters were Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.
She has written the world's longest-running play "The Mousetrap" which was performed in the West End since 1952, also six novels under the pseudonym Mary Westmacott.?
Agatha was made a Dame for her contribution to literature. With a Guinness World record list as the best-selling fiction writer of all time, her novel has sold more than 2 billion copies.
??Birth-Christie was born in a wealthy upper-middle-class family in Torquay, Devon, and was Largely homeschooled. She was initially an unsuccessful writer with six consecutive rejections, but in 1920 her book "The Mysterious Affair at Styles, featuring detective Hercule Poirot was published.
