Writer's Block...
I had a blog post scheduled to send out today, one relating to finding your purpose, and have run into writer's block. Maybe a little stage fright after announcing the big event I'm hosting in October?? Most likely, YESS... Anyways, I wasn't feeling great about the post, so instead of forcing more edits out of me, I decided to say hello and share some Sunday night thoughts, reflections, and positive vibes for the week, hot off the press!!
This time last week, I was just getting home from a fantastic solo vacation to NYC, Brooklyn and Hudson, NY! I haven't traveled by myself in a long time, and it's also something I've never done while in a relationship. I'm working on a piece that I plan to to share with you soon... about the vacation, some initial fears I had about it, what it was like settling in, and what I'm learning about the importance of solitude (for myself and maybe a few of you:)). I might even share a little something about the special guy in my life too:).
But to summarize, the trip was a really wonderful way to relax, re-energize and get inspired for many exciting things to come this fall. I encourage you to try solo travel if it sounds up your alley, or takes you outside your comfort zone a bit. Sitting at a bar by yourself with a good book or notebook or just totally alone (sans cell phone) can be totally empowering (and yes, initially nerve wracking). And no, work trips don't count:).
Aside from announcing my event, this week was also HUGE because I hired an Operations Manager! More to come on her awesomeness, but her name is Madeline, and she'll be working behind the scenes to help me execute some exciting website updates, streamline processes that take me a little too long:) and lots more! It's very exciting to be growing, and having this help will free up my time to connect with you and get more creative about how I serve you. Have a fantastic week ahead and Happy New Year to those who celebrate Rosh Hashanah.
