Write your Story - Today

Though we all know that we cannot visit our past to make any changes and so we cannot move ahead to look at our future to know what next is coming our way. This is the reality however, we are blessed enough to make a decision to live the life of our own choice. HOW? The most difficult or the most easiest question of life depending on an individual mindset, willingness and efforts.

We all know the benefits of meditation, exercise, journal, gratitude, peace time and we also know the consequences of overthinking, envy, greediness, hatred, comparisons but most of us fail to practice which is best for our well-being. What is the reason for this - fear ? failure? laziness? pain? cowardness ? This is something which only person is aware of and it completely depends on their situation.

Still, remember one thing - you have the power to write your own story at any point of your LIFE. You are the Hero of your life cycle, below are few tips which can help each one of us (including ME). I am at the same path of self improvement and below tips are meant for each one of us :-

  1. INITIATING - Make a decision for the self- improvement ( it should be your own decision not forceful). Sit in silence to focus on things which are bothering you. Pen it down in a tabular form with headers - "Problem Area, Action, Start date, End date and Goal"
  2. PLANNING - Think for an action for each problem area to achieve the end result like - if you are struggling with "Overthinking" action can be Meditation to achieve the result - Relax Mind.
  3. IMPLEMENTATION - Start practicing the planned action to achieve the result, Here the key point is to be consistent not to be enthusiastic for a week or so then think of putting a full stop.
  4. MONITORING - Track your action against each entered date. Be loyal to yourself and this beautiful journey of self-improvement.
  5. CLOSING - Don't panic if you miss to achieve the target. Its important to get the goal but the most important thing is to start and practice every single day even if we achieve what we aimed.
