Write Now is TWO! How did that happen?

Write Now is TWO! How did that happen?

Can you believe that Write Now is TWO YEARS OLD today?

Can you believe that Write Now is TWO YEARS OLD today?

I can’t.

This means that I’ve been staying up late on Monday nights and getting up early on Wednesday mornings for two years now?????

But it also means that I’ve held space for people to write and collectively we have written well over a million words in these writing accountability spaces.

These words have become books – traditionally and self-published – blogs (some of which have gone viral), email campaigns, social media posts.

These words go on and make them money for the people who write them by growing their audience and their mailing lists.

Some of these words have helped my writers untangle difficulties – every week at least one client is journaling for their mental health or writing out a tricky thing going on in their business – also a priceless way to spend some time.

And it’s not only non-fiction – just this week, a client wrote a poem based on the conversations in our chat box as we write together.

Last year, I held a Write Now First Birthday Festival to celebrate. We invited guest experts to teach us about writing for wellbeing, for creativity, for publication and for business. We took the time to explore what stops us writing, what we miss out on when we don’t write and exploring what we can achieve if we write regularly – and we had a week of writing together in community too.

This year, to celebrate Write Now’s birthday, I’ve decided to give a gift to you.

It’s a gift that I know you need.

I’ve been doing this for two years now and I know that a writing habit is essential for anyone who wants to write a book sometime in the next couple of years.

It’s the gift of a space to write.

Every week.

I hold space for six hours a week, 50 weeks of the year (we have a couple of weeks off at Christmas).

This is 300 hours of time to write.

Even if you only wrote 500 words an hour, you could write 150,000 words in 2022 if you came to all 300 hours (that’s about three books!)

That’s a big commitment for sure.

But what if you considered it an experiment.

The Write Now Experiment.

Where you committed to writing something every week, where you committed to showing up to write once a week for up to two hours in community with other writers, from the comfort of your own home.

No need to keep on paying for another coffee every 45 minutes. (Maths…2 coffees at £3 each for a two-hour session in a café times 50 weeks equals £300…)

Write under the watchful eye of a trained illustrated non-fiction book editor and publishing consultant who can dig up a writing prompt at the drop of a hat in case you want to write but don’t know what you want to write, and you can ask questions in the chat box of the Zoom.

So – there’s no sales page.

But what I do know is that if you show up every week for 50 weeks you will write 50,000 words.

Can you imagine writing 50,000 words in 2022 without this sort of support?

Can you imagine what it could be?

50 blogs.

A book

250 social media posts.

Can you imagine how you could powerfully write these words and how many lives you could touch through your writing?

How many people you could help?

And how that could turn into income for you?

Write Now sessions are fun.

The support to turn up to write each and every week?

Writing in community and the same energy as others?

It’s powerful.

And it clears the way for all the other things you’d love to do more of in your business if you know you’ve got a commitment to turn up to write every week.

That newsletter to your list will never be written at the last minute again.

Here’s the info.

It’s simple really.

We write together

Monday nights 8–10pm GMT/BST #teamnightowl

Tuesdays 11am–1pm GMT/BST #teaminbetweeners

Wednesday mornings 6–8am GMT/BST #teamearlybird

We meet on Zoom.

We have a bit of a dance to get ourselves in the mood.

We set our intentions for what we will accomplish that session.

Writing prompts are available if you need or want them.

And we write.

Post a link to your blog, best post of the week in a weekly post in our community Facebook group for your Write Now Experiment friends to come and support your writing and I’ll highlight a few each week in our weekly writing round up.

All of this for £199.

Yes, you read that right.

If you bought two coffees a week as you worked in a café, that would cost you £300.

Usually Write Now is a £40 per month subscription.

Usually, it’s £480 for this accountability.

And when the Write Now birthday sale is over, that’s the price that it will return to.

But for now, because I want my birthday to be the day that people make a commitment to write every week in 2022 (and into 2023 – this is access for a whole year), The Write Now Experiment is my gift to you for £199 for the whole year.

That’s it. No more to pay.

You can get this price until Monday at noon only.

It’s an absolute no brainer.

You can start writing with us from Monday.

2022 could be the year that you write your book!

2022 could be the year that you are consistent with your posting on social media, blogging or emailing your clients.

2022 could be the year that you set down the writing habit foundations that would mean that you can write and publish your book in 2023.

I’m so excited to welcome new writers and authors into our lovely friendly group.

Send me a message for the link.

I love being part of Write now! There have been times it has been so helpful for me even if all I do is write about how stuck I am, or just for the connection and community. I'm so grateful to you for creating and nurturing this space Erin, and for the genuine care you bring for your community!
