One of the reasons I love being an author is the personal connection I make with my readers. Whether they reach out via email, on social media, or I get to meet them in person, I feel so happy when someone tells me they've read one of my books and it has made a difference.
This has happened because of a concept I call "optimization."
Your book is optimized when you do some or all of the following:
The goal of optimization is to create an author-reader connection that is comfortable for the reader and provides a way for them to understand you're the expert, your intention is to be helpful, and if they want more from you, how and when they can get it.
